(printfashion)
Its kitsch season and Im here to help you be the cutest kitsch girl you never knew you were, without being too tacky.
1. Iron-On Patches

(pinterest)
Iron-on patches are one of my favorite ways to be kitsch. But be careful, using them in the wrong way can destroy your look altogether! The best ways to use iron-on patches are by using them on your jeans and jackets. The jackets should be denim, and only use a few patches. If you use them on jeans, use as many as you want, wherever! You can't really go wrong with jeans! Clothes aside, using iron patches on backpacks are also a great way to embrace kitsch. Canvas and denim are the best materials to use iron patches on, backpacks and jackets. For backpacks, its the same rule with jeans, as many, wherever!
2. Shoes With Unique Embellishments and Patterns

(pinterest)
Ah, shoes... Can't leave the house without them. Shoes with a little unusual tweak to them make them one of my favorite kitsch items! If you are wearing a kitsch dress with a banana print design, rubber shoes like the ones above are perfect to finish off the outfit! Other kitsch shoes are felt-like material ones with fringe and beads and extremely colorful high wedges. Use them to your advantage!
3. Purses With a Unique Twist To Them

(Handbag Blog Bag and Purse Trends)
Purses and handbags aren't an essential but are certainly wanted! Having a purse with a little twist to it is another way to be kitsch. So instead of grabbing that teal handbag, consider a clear backpack or a cereal box inspired crossbody. Being kitsch means it doesn't even have to match, most of the time that is! From tin pastel purses, overly decorated bags and backpacks with way too many chain links to bags featuring colors on the opposite sides of the color wheel, and lipstick shaped crossbodies. Really, it isnt hard to find kitsch bags that fit your taste and style. The only ones you might want to be careful with are the ones that are collages of weird things and overly decorated purses. Especially that last one. You don't want to look like a cheapo!
4. Stockings of Different Colors and Odd Designs
Tights, you wear them almost anywhere. Here is how to rock it without going overboard!
-wear them with a simple oversized sweater
-wear them under a one colored dress
-pair them with a sweater dress
-wear them with a shirt and an oversized/big sweater
And if you are having problems with finding matching shoes, simple yet stylish black booties will always do the trick!
